Precision Medals can professionally assemble regular or "Thin Mount" ribbons. Our military ribbons are in accordance with the uniform regulations of each branch of service.

Regular Military Ribbons

All our ribbons are made in the United States and certified by the US Army's Institute of Heraldry. We offer a full selection of slide-on ribbons for every branch of the service. If you purchase ribbons and a ribbon bar from us, we will assemble the ribbon rack for you at no charge.

Each branch is different in its approach to other military branch awards. Each service branch lists other military branch awards that aren't allowed to be worn on their uniforms. If you order ribbons that cannot be worn with your service uniform, we will contact you and discuss it. Precision Medals will not, no matter how much you want us to, assemble a ribbon rack with awards that are not authorized to be worn by a specific branch. We stock every ribbon for the following service branches:

Thin military ribbons

Thin-mount ribbons are hand-crafted and assembled per your directions. We can construct your ribbon rack with or without 1/8-inch spacing. You can choose from clear, khaki, or olive drab for a fill color between rows if you choose 1/8 inch spacing. Backing choices are traditional pins or magnets. Every ribbon for every branch is available.

These ribbons are not the traditional slide-on type. They are handmade when you place your order. Thin-mount ribbons cannot be used with slide-on military ribbons. They have their own backings that can be custom-made to fit any number of military ribbons per row. Thin-mount ribbons cannot have additional award ribbons added if you earn more. If you have a unique setup, send us an email after you place your order, and we will review the order with you.

Your order will take a few extra days to process for thin ribbons, so please be patient. Since thin-mount ribbons are handmade, we cannot accept returns for them after they are shipped.

Ribbon Bars

We offer ribbon bars with or without 1/8-inch spacing. We also construct military ribbon bars that are cut to fit your particular uniform needs. Cut-to-fit ribbon bars come in khaki, green, black, white, or clear. If you choose a ribbon bar that must be cut, our staff will contact you for the exact number of ribbons in each row.

Ribbon Attachments

We stock every attachment for all of our medals and ribbons. Award attachments are mounted free of charge on mounted ribbons.

Shipping

Ribbons are typically mounted and shipped within 2 to 3 days of receiving your order. Thin military ribbons will take a few days longer to assemble and ship. We ship to all addresses, including PO Boxes, APOs, FPOs, and DPOs. We also ship internationally.

International rates are determined at the time of shipping based on the chosen shipping method and will incur a charge for the difference between the rates charged at the time of the order. Standard shipping is via priority mail through USPS with delivery confirmation. We also offer overnight shipping via express mail. Please note that if we make a mistake on your order and you need to return it, we will issue you a return postage-paid label. We will accept returns for all other orders for less than the shipping charges.

Returns

• If there is a mistake on your order and you must return it, we will issue you a return postage-paid label. Any errors will be fixed by our team at no charge.
• All military ribbons that are returned in their original packaging will be accepted, and a refund will be issued.
